Registration is now open for the May Phase 2 workday in Washington, Illinois. It will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 8:30am - 4:30pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Our Savior Lutheran Church, Washington, Illinois and the surrounding people has been tremendously grateful for all the volunteers that have shown them love, compassion, and given the gift of their time to help them after the November 2013 tornado. What can you do to help?

  • PRAY - Pray for all those experiencing loss from the tornadoes and those who are trying to help those who have suffered loss.
  • Volunteer - see links above to register to help
  • Support - Our Savior Lutheran, Pastor Heren and his family, and the others in the area who are in need of financial assistance as they try to clean up and rebuild.
  • Donate - 25-gallon tubs to be sent down with LERT teams as they help collect belongings of the people whose homes were damaged.
  • Care Cards - Here is an opportunity to provide Mercy and Compassion and Help to an individual or family right now! Click here for more information
  • Cards and Notes of Encouragement - to be posted on the wall at the church
  • Spiritual Care Kits (2-gallon bag including a Bible, Devotional, Notebook, Pen and a Cross or something to hang in a room) to give out to families
  • Prayer Shawls to give out to people in need
